01 What this policy covers

This policy covers the North Valley IT website at northvalleyit.org and the forms on it. It explains what information the site collects, what we do with it, and how to ask us about it.

It does not cover the work we do for clients under a service agreement. How we handle client systems and data is set out in the agreement itself.

02 Information we collect

The site collects information in two ways.

• What you type into the contact or support forms: your name, your business, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and the message or request itself.
• Basic server logs kept by our hosting provider: the address your connection comes from, the pages requested, and the type of browser used.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not buy information about you from anyone else.

03 How we use it

We use what you send through a form to reply to you and to provide the service you asked about. If you ask for support, the details you give are what we work from.

We use server logs to keep the site working and to notice abuse or attacks. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

04 Who we share it with

Two services handle information on our behalf: the form-delivery service that carries messages from this website to our inbox, and the hosting provider that serves the pages and keeps the logs. We will name both here once they are connected.

We do not sell your information, share it for marketing, or pass it to anyone else unless the law requires us to.

05 Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. The form-delivery and hosting services may set cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work, and nothing more.

If we add analytics later, we will update this policy first and say what is collected.

06 How long we keep it

We keep form messages for as long as we need them to handle your request and to keep a record of what was asked and what we said. Server logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider, then deleted.

07 Your choices

You can ask us to show you what you have sent through the site, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to the address in the contact section below and we will do so, unless we have to keep a record for legal or accounting reasons.

08 Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we post the new version here and update the date shown at the top of the page. We do not notify you individually.
